PA6 20GF | Polyamide 6 with 20% Glass Fibre

PA 6 GF20 (Polyamide 6) with 20% Glass Fibre is one of the most used polyamides due to the good availability of the raw material (caprolactam), the wide range of applications, and the ease and economic feasibility of production, as well as its easy transformation and recycling.

It is characterised for its excellent mechanical properties, resistance to wear, low friction co-efficient, high fusion point, good resistance to impact and high resistance to fatigue. Polyamides 6 can be easily moulded and used to produce a wide range of coloured polymers, and to have a good surface reinforced with fibre. It is hygroscopic, which is why it must be dried before its use in injection.

Reinforced with glass fibre, polymers are characterised by a high level of rigidity, good dimensional stability, excellent resistance to heat, good resistance to wear, and a low friction co-efficient.
