Plásticos Alser is excited to attend Equiplast 2023, which will be held in Barcelona from May 30th to June 2nd, Hall 3 – Stand G11. This fair is one of the most important in the world for the plastics sector, and we are looking forward to showcasing our technology and know-how in the recycling of this material.
Since our founding in 1977, Plásticos Alser has been committed to sustainability and the circular economy. We have focused on the recycling and reuse of plastics, and the creation of high quality, value-added products from them.
Equiplast 2023, Hall 3 – Stand G11
At Equiplast 2023, we will be presenting our latest technology and know-how in plastics recycling. We want to share with the visitors of the fair our innovative processes, which allow us to recycle high quality plastics and reduce the environmental impact.
Furthermore, at Plásticos Alser we believe that the circular economy is the future of our planet. Therefore, we are committed to working on creating sustainable solutions and reducing our carbon footprint. At Equiplast 2023, we will show how our innovative technologies allow us to move in this direction.
Sustainable solutions
Some of the sustainable solutions we will be presenting at the show include the following:
- Recycling of high quality plastics: At Plásticos Alser, we use state-of-the-art technology to recycle high quality plastics. Our processes allow us to obtain recycled plastics that can be used in multiple applications.
- Reduced carbon footprint: Our recycling processes are environmentally friendly. We use renewable energy sources, and have significantly reduced our CO2 emissions in recent years.
- Creating high quality products: At Plásticos Alser, we not only focus on recycling plastics, but also on creating high quality, value-added products. At the fair, we will present some of the most innovative and sustainable compound products for end manufacturers.

The RETHINKING PLASTICS section at EQUIPLAST highlights the application of recycled materials in real and functional applications in industry, consumer products, automotive or logistics. And Alser has already helped to present one of the proposals of this section with application in intensive agriculture in PP 30GF trays, which require great stability and functionality in its semi-automatic planting system at the foot of the greenhouse. In this 2023 edition we will propose new ideas and real results.
On this occasion we have worked on applications closer to society, to real cases of applicability of Eco-Design recycling. In this case the furniture company ONDARRETA in one of its references applies a PP Polyser_i15 from Alser for the seat and back of a chair. Where there are only two elements, plastic and metal. Its finish can be seen at the fair in this space of successful examples of recycling, which is not only with recycled material but also its Eco-Design allows easy disassembly and recycling of each of the parts as it does not combine other materials.
