We celebrated our participation in the 3rd National Plastics Recycling Congress, organised by ANARPLA. This event, held at the Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano, coincided with the International Recycling Day and the 30th anniversary of ANARPLA.

Alser with its CEO Cesar Alonso exposed the challenges and opportunities of how to apply recycled materials seeking to maintain the demands and requirements of each sector and especially the Auto.
The totally unbalanced competition of mechanical recycling and chemical recycling. How the supposed mass balance for recycled content in virgin material is a bureaucratic “invention” in many cases in favour of the big petrochemical companies. And it does not require clear and auditable traceability as is done in mechanical recycling and the required certification in the 15343 RecyClass standard. And this difference is a clear attack on the sector itself.
On the other hand, the general feeling is the concern for stable and quality supplies in order to address the market capacities of the transformation. And here it is yet to be written and defined more and new sources or formats. This involves re-drawing the specifications of final parts in order to be able to match supplies and technical requirements.
