The R&D project approved by the Government of Navarre under the 2024 R&D call, entitled “High-performance polypropylene and fibreglass composites based on recycled materials (ECOmposites)”, is progressing successfully.
The company PLASTICOS ALSER is carrying out the ECOmposites project, with the aim of producing new fibreglass-reinforced plastic products from recycled raw materials, thereby promoting the circular economy.

In the ECOmposites project, ALSER is working on the development of a new family of high-performance recycled PPFV that meets the demands of the automotive market. The aim is to significantly reduce the environmental impact and increase the circularity of a high-demand product, in line with the green transition.
This research has been funded by the Government of Navarre and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the 2024 call for proposals for grants for collaborative R&D projects.
