Plásticos Alser gives a very positive assessment of its presence at Equiplast 2026, a key event for the plastics and rubber industry held at Fira Barcelona. Over four days, stand 3B91 became a meeting point for customers, partners and professionals interested in solutions based on recycled polymers, compounds and new materials for industrial applications.

From 2 to 5 June, Plásticos Alser took part in Equiplast 2026, the International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition held at the Gran Via venue of Fira Barcelona. The fair once again brought together companies, converters, manufacturers, technology suppliers and professionals from across the plastics value chain around a common goal: to move towards a more efficient, innovative and circular industry.

From stand 3B91, the Alser team presented its solutions in new polymers, compounds and recycled materials, highlighting the company’s expertise in developing products for sectors such as the automotive industry, packaging, technical applications and industry.

With straightforward messages such as “I love recycling”, Alser’s presence at Equiplast conveyed a clear message: plastic recycling is not only an environmental necessity, but also an industrial opportunity to develop competitive, traceable materials tailored to current market demands.

A stand for sharing solutions, projects and new opportunities

Over the four days of the fair, Alser’s stand was visited by customers, industry professionals and companies keen to learn more about its technical capabilities. Equiplast provided an opportunity to strengthen business relationships, initiate new discussions and share the company’s vision on the role of recycled plastic in today’s industry.

Furthermore, the Alser team noted significant interest from customers in the various formats and application capabilities of technical materials based on PCR and PIR recycling, a line of products becoming increasingly relevant for sectors seeking to incorporate recycled solutions with guarantees, traceability and performance characteristics tailored to their production processes.

The 2026 edition was particularly marked by concepts such as sustainability, recycling, digitalisation, new materials and the circular economy – areas of focus fully aligned with Alser’s day-to-day operations.

Presentation of KIWA, ISO 9001 TED and RecyClass certifications

One of the highlights of the fair was the presentation to the Alser team of the KIWA ISO 9001 TED + RecyClass certification, a recognition that reinforces the company’s commitment to continuous improvement, process control and the responsible management of recycled materials.

These certifications represent an important step towards continuing to guarantee customers materials with greater traceability, more controlled processes and management aligned with current quality and sustainability standards.

In a context where the industry demands increasingly transparent and verifiable solutions, holding certifications linked to quality, traceability and recycling provides added value for all those companies seeking to incorporate recycled materials into their production processes with guarantees.
