At Plásticos Alser we have been committed to innovation in the recycling and transformation of plastics for decades. Our experience in the development of recycled compounds (compounding) with high added value has positioned us as a benchmark company in the production of technical recycled multipolymers, with applications in strategic sectors such as automotive, electricity, logistics and industrial components.
Our line of work is based on converting plastic waste into new resources with technical performance adapted to each need. Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of materials, specific formulations and reinforcement and additive technologies, we are able to offer products with mechanical, thermal and functional properties comparable to those of virgin materials, but with a much lower environmental impact.
Tailor-made compounding: a solution for every sector
One of the most important polymers in our production is polypropylene (PP). It is a very versatile, light and strong material, ideal for technical components. At Alser, we develop PP compounds reinforced with:
- Talc, to improve rigidity and dimensional stability.
- Glass fibre (GF), for increased mechanical strength
- Impact modifiers, to improve toughness under stress conditions
- Thermal additives, which stabilise the material under temperature changes.
All this makes recycled PP an ideal material for housings, electrical connectors, distribution boxes, structural parts, logistic trays and much more.
In addition, we work intensively with recycled polyamides, especially PA6 and PA66 with glass fibre. These technical compounds offer an excellent ratio of stiffness, thermal resistance and shock absorption and are highly valued in technically demanding applications, both in the automotive industry and in the manufacture of parts subjected to prolonged stress.

ABS, PC and other plastics on the rise
Another development block at Alser is represented by engineering plastics such as ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and PC (Polycarbonate). Their demand has grown significantly in recent years due to their versatility and their optical, mechanical and aesthetic properties. These recycled materials are used in sectors such as household appliances, consumer electronics and technical furniture.
