At Plásticos ALSER we are taking a new step towards excellence in plastic waste management: we have certified our quality system with KIWA under the ISO 9001 standard, also integrating the requirements of Order TED/646/2023 of the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
After 15 years of relying on Lloyds Register (LRQA) for our quality certifications, the regulatory and technical evolution in the plastics recycling sector has led us to work with KIWA, an entity of recognised prestige in industrial certification, to guarantee compliance with the new documentary standards.
More transparency, traceability and confidence for our customers.
Thanks to this certification:
-
We implement a more robust and auditable system for the management and traceability of plastic waste.
-
We identify not only whether a plastic scrap is PIR (Post Industrial Recycled) or PCR (Post Consumer Recycled), but also the sub-areas and scraps of origin that we treat in our facilities.
-
We offer our converter customers full and guaranteed traceability of the origin and quality of the recycled materials.
This improvement is aligned with the criteria of RecyClass, the European body that ensures the correct assessment of recycled content in raw materials and end products, thus reinforcing our commitment to the circular economy and transparency in the recycled plastic value chain.
Commitment to quality and sustainability
With the adoption of Order TED/646/2023, ALSER closes the circle of identification, control and documentation required for recycled materials such as PP, PPGF, ABS, PS, PA6, PC, TPE, POM, PBT, among others.
This advance reinforces our position as a national benchmark in the recovery, treatment and recovery of technical plastic waste, guaranteeing our customers certified quality, regulatory compliance and environmental commitment.
