Alser K 2025 Dusseldorf

K 2025 Düsseldorf: post-fair review and next steps with Alser

After three intense days at K 2025 (8-10 October, Düsseldorf), we at Plásticos Alser closed the trade fair on a very positive note: numerous meetings with manufacturers and converters, high-level technical discussions and a clear market interest in materials with recycled content and solutions that combine performance, supply stability and footprint reduction.

What the market demanded most

  • Technical polymers: special focus on PA, PS, PBT and PP GF, both virgin grades and recycled options.
  • Key applications: automotive (interiors, connectors, thermal management), technical packaging and electrical/electronics.
  • Recurring objectives: lower part weight, shorter cycle times, dimensional stability, thermal/impact resistance and regulatory compliance.

Our value proposition

At Alser we help align cost, process and sustainability. We do this with:

  • Material selection (PA, PS, PBT, PBT, POM, PP, PE, ABS, PC, TPE, TPV and more), with advice on properties and equivalences.
  • Recycled options with support to integrate content without losing performance in injection, extrusion.
  • Custom compounding/blends: MFI adjustment, UV/FR additives, impact, colour and stabilisation.
  • Supply and quality: consistent batches, technical documentation and after-sales support.

Next steps after K 2025

  • Sending technical data sheets and samples to those who requested them during the fair.
  • Online tests to validate materials and speed up approvals.
  • Cost/CO₂ reviews for projects seeking more competitive and sustainable alternatives.

If we couldn’t meet you in Düsseldorf or you would like more information, we will be happy to schedule a short meeting to review your application (current material, process, objectives and regulations).
