On 17 May, coinciding with World Recycling Day, the 2nd National Plastics Recycling Congress will be held to recognise the work of companies in the plastics sector. These companies have positioned Spain as the second country in the European Union with the highest recycling rate.
Our CEO at Plásticos Alser, César Alonso, has been invited to participate as the final speaker at the congress, and will present the technological advances in the sector, and their benefits for the end consumer.
Alser ‘s clear initiatives in the recycling sector with compositions adjusted to the final requirements by adding talc, high impact, ageing, GF glass fibre, etc. as a global solution from start to finish, from the poorly manufactured part to post-consumer rejection previously selected by urban management plants or vehicle or electronics dismantling plants.
Using as a base 100% recycled origin in their raw materials and not “pseudo” virgin recycled and labelled as 100% recycled without being from industrial manufacturing or post consumer rejects. Anarpla and the 2nd edition of the National Plastics Recycling Congress
The event, which will be held at the Atlético de Madrid Stadium and will be attended by representatives of the entire plastics recycling value chain, including public administrations, producers, distributors, recyclers, knowledge centres, among others, will analyse and debate some of the crucial issues in the sector. Among them, the impact of new regulations, the situation of the recycled plastics market in Spain and Europe, new technologies in the field of plastics recycling and investment aid.
During the 2nd edition of the National Plastics Recycling Congress, leading national and international experts will analyse the present and future situation of the plastics value chain, as well as the critical aspects to boost the plastics recycling sector. These aspects include the impact of new regulations, such as the Royal Decree on packaging and packaging waste, the Law on waste and contaminated soils for a circular economy, the end of waste status, mandatory recycling content, new taxes, among others. In addition, topics such as the current situation of the recycled plastics market in Spain and Europe, new technologies applied to plastics recycling and available investment aid will be discussed.
The 2nd National Congress on Plastic Recycling is aimed at a wide range of companies, public administrations, educational institutions and sector and consumer associations, among others. The quality of the contents attracts the interest of the main representatives of the sector, including plastic transformers, plastic recyclers, virgin plastic producers, machinery manufacturers, recovery companies, Public Administrations (Ministries, Autonomous Regions, City Councils), consumer associations and the media.
