Recycling and in general the recovery of plastic waste is the biggest current challenge to implement the Circular Economy model that allows the use of waste as resources as new and more sustainable raw materials. That is why Aimplas together with Alser as sponsor have created this I International Seminar on Plastic Recycling, where we will discuss the current challenges and opportunities related to the management and recycling of plastic waste, as well as to present all the initiatives that are being implemented at international level to achieve the objectives set at European level in the 2030 Agenda.
The seminar will feature more than 20 speakers spread over two days. It is a hybrid event that can be followed in person or by videoconference.
The 1st International Seminar on Plastics Recycling will address the following topics:
- Circular economy and plastics recycling.
- Collection, sorting and separation.
- Mechanical and chemical recycling technologies
- Challenges of recycling
- Legislation, regulations, certification and characterisation
- Product recyclability.
The event is aimed at R&D, production, quality, environmental, commercial and business development personnel from raw materials companies, processors and manufacturers, machinery and technologies, waste management and treatment, recyclers, public administrations with responsibilities in environmental policies, research centres, universities and public research bodies and anyone interested in the sector.
You can register until 30 November, but it is advisable not to wait until then as capacity is limited.
