Selection of plastics for vehicle decontamination

The law establishing such managers is in full swing, with clear ambitions to maximise the use of end-of-life vehicles. The next step will be to manage glass and plastics with a clear date to officially start in 2006.

Vehicle dismantling and decontamination line

Modernisation of the sector is key, starting with fast, clean and efficient systems.

With dismantling lines with stages of action:

  • Removal of liquids.
  • Removal of tyres and rims
  • Removal of possible small and medium-sized spare parts (but only those parts not in stock).
  • Removal of large parts (engine, radiator, gearbox, transmission….)
  • Overhaul of the end of the vehicle
  • Storage of the rest (car body)

The parts that are not marketed as spare parts and are separated and segregated in containers that will be removed by other users who make use of this waste: rubber, tyres, steel, rims, copper, wiring, etc.
